Terms of Service

1. About Rolling Repairs

Rolling Repairs is a mobile technology repair and build service based in Acworth, Georgia. We perform on-site PC builds, PC repair and upgrades, and phone screen and hardware repairs at or near the customer's location using our fully equipped work van. All services are performed by Rolling Repairs technicians.

2. Eligibility & Account Creation

To book a service you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Rolling Repairs reserves the right to refuse service or terminate any account at our sole discretion, including for violation of these Terms, abusive conduct, or fraudulent activity.

3. Service Area

Services are available within approximately a one-hour drive of Acworth, Georgia, covering most of the greater Atlanta metropolitan area. We reserve the right to decline bookings outside our service area or in locations we determine to be inaccessible, unsafe, or otherwise unsuitable for mobile service delivery.

Parking requirement: The customer is responsible for providing a safe, legal, and reasonably level parking space for our work van at or immediately adjacent to the service location. This includes a space on a private driveway, residential street, or parking lot where the van may remain for the duration of the appointment without risk of ticketing, towing, or obstruction. If suitable parking cannot be provided, Rolling Repairs reserves the right to cancel the appointment without a refund of the booking deposit.

4. Appointments & Booking

All appointments are subject to technician availability. Booking an appointment does not constitute a guarantee of service — it is a reservation of time. Rolling Repairs reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to technician illness, equipment issues, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control. We will notify you as soon as possible in such events.

You are responsible for ensuring that the device to be serviced, all relevant accessories (chargers, cables, cases), and any necessary passwords or access credentials are available at the time of the appointment. Failure to provide these may result in a partial service or cancellation without refund of the deposit.

5. Deposits & Payment

A non-refundable booking deposit is required to confirm your appointment. The deposit amount will be displayed at the time of booking. The deposit is applied toward your total service cost.

• Deposit: Required at the time of booking. Non-refundable except as stated in Section 6.
• Remaining balance: Due in full upon completion of the service at the time of the appointment.
• Accepted payment methods: Cash, major credit/debit cards, Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle. Personal checks are not accepted.
• Disputed charges: Any disputes regarding charges must be raised within 7 days of the service date by contacting us at rollingrepairsco@gmail.com.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

Customer cancellations:

• More than 24 hours before the appointment: You may reschedule at no charge. The deposit transfers to the new appointment date.
• Less than 24 hours before the appointment: The deposit is forfeited. A new deposit will be required to rebook.
• No-show: If the customer is not present at the scheduled time and location without prior notice, the deposit is forfeited and Rolling Repairs reserves the right to charge an additional no-show fee of up to $25.

Rolling Repairs cancellations: If we cancel your appointment for any reason other than customer failure (parking, no-show, or Terms violation), your deposit will be refunded in full within 5–7 business days.

7. Liability & Limitation of Damages

Rolling Repairs will exercise reasonable professional care in performing all services. However, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• Data loss: Rolling Repairs is not responsible for any loss of data, files, software, or settings that may occur during or as a result of a repair. You are solely responsible for backing up your data prior to any service appointment.
• Pre-existing damage: Rolling Repairs is not liable for any pre-existing physical, electrical, or software damage to your device that is discovered during or after a repair. We will document and disclose any pre-existing conditions found before proceeding.
• Consequential damages: Rolling Repairs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to our services, including but not limited to loss of business, loss of revenue, or loss of data.
• Maximum liability: Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific service.
• Device condition: By booking a service, you confirm that you are the owner of the device or are authorized by the owner to have it serviced.

8. Satisfaction Guarantee

Rolling Repairs stands behind our work. If you experience an issue directly related to a repair performed by us within 30 days of the service date, contact us and we will assess the issue and, where the problem is determined to be caused by our workmanship, remedy it at no additional charge. This guarantee does not cover:

• New damage caused by the customer after the service.
• Pre-existing conditions disclosed at the time of service.
• Software issues unrelated to the repair performed.
• Devices that have been opened, modified, or repaired by a third party after our service.

9. Privacy & Data Use

By creating an account you consent to Rolling Repairs collecting and storing your name, email address, phone number, service address, and appointment history for the purpose of providing and improving our services.

• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
• We may use your contact information to send appointment confirmations, status updates, and occasional service-related communications. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time.
• Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase and is protected in accordance with industry-standard security practices.
• We may retain your account data for up to 3 years following your last appointment for record-keeping and legal compliance purposes.

10. Conduct & Right to Refuse Service

Rolling Repairs technicians have the right to a safe and respectful work environment. We reserve the right to immediately terminate a service appointment and leave the premises without refund if a customer or anyone present at the location:

• Is verbally abusive, threatening, or harassing toward our technician.
• Creates an unsafe working environment.
• Requests that we perform illegal modifications or services.
• Provides a service location that is unsafe, unsanitary, or inaccessible.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on the Rolling Repairs website and customer portal, including but not limited to logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Rolling Repairs and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without express written permission.

12. Modifications to These Terms

Rolling Repairs reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Cobb County, Georgia.
